A message from CSI’s International President
Pray for the Suffering Parts of the Body of Christ
Part of our calling as Christians is to intercede for this world in prayer. We lift up those who suffer to the Almighty and ask for His help.
The Bible tells us that these victims of religious persecution are brothers and sisters in Christ. They are parts of the worldwide Body of Christ to which we belong. “When one part suffers” the Apostle Paul tells us, “all parts suffer with it”. (I Cor. 12:26)
You can make a difference – by encouraging prayer for the world’s persecuted Christians in your weekly worship services and prayer meetings.
CSI can help. Every month we publish the names and details of Christians who suffer for their faith. These cases are intended to be used in prayers of intercession. They can help direct our hearts and minds to specific individuals and many others that suffer similarly for their faith.
We will also share the good news of the liberation of Christian prisoners, slaves, bonded labor, and victims of human trafficking, so that you can life up prayers of praise and thanksgiving as well as intercession.
Wishing you the Almighty's blessing!
This month's prayer news
Prayer topics for June
Sunday 7 June 2026: PAKISTAN
Neha Faqir, 18, is the child of Christian brick kiln laborers. When Neha failed to return home from a sewing course on March 24 her parents reported her missing. They fear she has been abducted by Muslim men and trafficked. Neha’s family continues to hold on to the hope that she will be found and returned home. (photo shows Neha’s mother Rasoolan)
We pray for Neha to be restored to her family, and for all victims of human trafficking in Pakistan.
Sunday 14 June 2026: BELARUS
Catholic priest Anatol Parakhnevich, aged 65, has been detained since March 16, and was therefore unable to celebrate Easter with his parishioners. He was arrested after the secret police raided his home and church, confiscating the church keys. Father Anatol is reported to have suffered a heart attack in pre-trial detention.
We pray that Pastor Anatol will be freed, and for religious liberty in Belarus.
Sunday 21 June 2026: WEST PAPUA
Mirena Kogoya was forced to flee her Christian village in central Papua province after it came under attack amid fighting between the army and separatist groups. More than a dozen people, including members of her extended family, were killed. “Now I am afraid to return home,” says Mirena. She is one of more than 107,000 people displaced by the escalating conflict in West Papua.
We pray for Mirena and all those driven from their homes by the conflict in West Papua.
Sunday 28 June 2026: INDIA
The family of Ram Prasad from northern India held prayer meetings outside their home that were attended by over 100 people. In September 2023 during one of these meetings Ram was arrested and accused of illegally converting Hindus to Christianity. He was finally acquitted in December 2025. Now free, he has begun training in law so that he can defend other victims of injustice.
We give thanks for Ram’s calling to help victims of injustice, and pray for all those falsely accused in India
